The advent of spring and summer increases the risk of a poisonous bite. Warm weather and pleasant climate invite for outdoor activities. poisonous insects and animals are more active during this season .venomous insects and snake are commonly found in hot region.it is always good to be ready to face such poisonous attack.

The snake which is said to be cold-blooded is found everywhere inland sea grassy and marshy land and deserts. venomous snakes are not found in antarctica.most of the snakes found in a hot region and venomous .in cold region their movement is less. They come out freely in spring and summer

Snakebite is dangerous.

Snakes are on their move in search of prey.normally snakes do not harm humans. but they bite for defensive purpose against predators. When they are disturbed they bite to safeguard their security. they inject venom into the body of the predator. a string normally results in a wound or lesion at the area of bite the venom causes a kind of burning sensation.

the poison spreads to other parts of the body. The person affected may experience itching, vomiting, dizziness,and muscle spasms.

Ayurvedic treatment for snakes bites

1)The patient should not get panic. because more deaths occur only when the patient becomes panic. But time is very important in controlling the spread of venom.

2)Ayurvedic medicines are given orally. they available in ayurvedic medicines normally have no side effects. Nowadays, ayurvedic medicines are administrated through injection also.

3)Ayurveda uses herbs such as nirgundi(solanum americanum Miller), black pepper, long pepper, sacred basil,vishaminjil, aloe vera, and many other common plants found easily in the countryside.

4)As a home remedy, Ayurveda suggests drinking the juice of banana stem which is very effective in removing the poison of insects and snakes.

5)Chewing neem(margosa) leaves with salt and black pepper is helpful in removing poison. the person who has poison in the body will taste it sweet while chewing.

6)A plant called sahachara in ayurveda, botanically called acanthus ilicifolius is used for curing snake bite. this anti inflamatory, heptoprotective, anti osteoorotic, chemopreventive herb is commonly found in tropical countries.
